I've been listening to "As It Happens" on CBC since I was a kid. We used to listen to it while we ate our dinner. (Hamburgers on Tuesdays and Fridays, with Chocolate milk on Fridays. My brother got two burgers on two buns, I got two burgers on only one bun because I was not as athletic as him- I wasn't athletic full stop) "As It Happens" has always been there and I'm sure most of us know the theme music. A couple of weeks ago I wasn't eating hamburgers and I wasn't listening to the radio, but some friends were, and they texted to say they had just heard Sing Along Tim and The Pacifiers singing Booger Song on "As It Happens". Jeff Douglas was talking about a new scientific report that states that picking your nose and eating it is good for you. We say the same thing in our song and they'd found it and played it as an introduction to the story. Unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions (probably due to cuts to public broadcasting by the conservative gov't) we aren't on the podcast. But, thanks CBC for providing quality shows like "As It Happens" and for playing quality music like "The Booger Song"
