After a successful launch party at The Red Sandcastle Theatre this past Sunday.  “Brand New World Of Pant” is now out in the world. Featuring songs about cats, trees and why we need them, pants that don't fit, and that wonderful feeling the first time it snows, with awesome horn arrangements by Tom Richards and Suzy Wilde, fab backing vocals and slide whistle from Lori Nancy Kalamanski and an incredible rhythm section with Dani Nash on drums and percussion and Jon Maharaj on bass, I  am just so happy with how this record has turned out.  Everybody who worked on it with me is SOOO talented.  To find out more about them all, visit our instagram page @singalongtim.  We've also got three new videos to share with you. My new album ‘Brand New World of Pants" is scheduled for release on June 11th.  I can’t wait for you to hear it. My long time collaborator, Lori Nancy Kalamanski and I, were thrilled to work with some of the finest musicians in Toronto, if not Canada, to record 9 new original songs, over one weekend.  We'll be profiling each of these wonderful artists on instagram if you want to learn more.  I am also delighted to be working with 2 gifted film makers and an amazing illustrator to put together an audio visual feast for families.  We will be playing songs from the album, and showing  three music videos at The Red Sandcastle Theatre on Sunday June 11th at 11 am.  There will also be some prizes and give aways.

After all the fun of Penelope Pineapple's Perplexing Puzzles, Penelope took a wee break.  

Now she's back with a new project.

She knows she's spending too much time on her screens, but she still wants to stay in touch with everybody, so she's started writing letters and postcards to friends and followers. And they've been writing back!

Hello Friends, 

I know my son Charlie is still holding on to the sleep over party he was supposed to have with his best friend that never happened because of the pandemic.  Here we are a year later.  So we thought we'd try and help out with a sleep over party concert.  We're going to make snacks (ants on a log & rice crispy squares ) we've got some fun games lined up, a craft, and lots of songs. We'll keep going as long as we can, after all that is what a sleep over party is all about isn't it? 

We hope you can join us. 

If you want to make snacks with us, please get hold of some celery and dried fruit and you can use cream cheese or peanut butter. I'm sure you know what you need to make rice crispy  squares.

Just a quick note from Lori Nancy and me.  We wanted to thank you for your support over the past year.  We know it's been tough for everybody, and it means a great to deal to us that you chose to spend some of your time with us, watching our shows during the first months of the lockdown, and listening, watching and actually helping us write some of the songs we made this year.

We very much hope that we'll have the chance to meet in person at a live show in 2021.

Last Sunday, Lori Nancy and I live-streamed our Homemade Holiday Show.  We had a really lovely time.  Thanks to everybody who tuned in.  We got to read the story "Night Walk" by Sara O'Leary and Ellie Arscott.  We played our holiday single and some other favourite tunes.   Lori Nancy made a wonderful craft.  We released a new single and a video to go with it.  To top it all off, we are opening for Santa next week in a virtual show for Scadding Court EarlyON.  So if you've got a list, send it to us and we can have a word with Santa on your behalf.

Starting this Monday, March 23rd, at 10 am Eastern Daylight Time.  Lori Nancy and I are going to be live streaming from the Sing Along Tim Facebook Page.  We'll do some songs, Get everyone moving. We'll even do an arts and crafts activity related to one of the songs.  Something you can make out of stuff you've already got in your house. Please join us.

We are very happy to be returning to Sick Kids Hospital tomorrow morning, for a performance in their Library.  Looking forward to sharing our music and making some new friends. 

Also we got an honourable mention in the International Song Writing Competition.

Sometime last year I entered our song "Booger Song" in the International Songwriting Competition, then I forgot all about it.  Earlier this week, I received an email telling me the song is a finalist. Very exciting.  I think the winners for each category will be announced at the beginning of April. Or maybe it's June.  We'll keep you posted.  The songs are being listened to by a panel of judges that includes Tom Waits, Nancy Wilson and Ziggy Marley.  There is also a People's Voice Award.  "The People" can vote every day for their favourite song.  There are 15 other finalists in the kids music category.  I haven't listened to the other songs yet.  

I know I've been asking you to vote a lot lately, but if you could find the time to vote for us on this one too, that would be amazing.  Again, you can vote every day.
